Well that is the end of Time Team and ironically, it now becomes history itself.
Time Team first go me interested in history as I know it did to many others. I know plenty of people who I would not call history buffs, but who always enjoy Time Team so its legacy spans a broad section of society.
It is the program that gave Phil Harding and many other archaeologists a wide public audience and many of those featured went on to other programmes such as Dr Alice Roberts and her superb series 'Origins of us'
Time Team leaves a large legacy and a large void that hopefully will be filled with other history programmes of equal caliber.
Anyone else a Time Team fan?? (i'm sure there are many)
