Re: Scheduled Monument Consents - accessibilty?
I suspect this is one of those areas where they have full control. The EH website doesn't really give any clues, though there may be some idea of the process on the application form. See https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/professional/advice/hpg/consentandplanningpermission/smc/ as a starting point...

Re: Charity Status for English Heritage
The date for responses to the Consultation Process has now passed. Below are the responses I've found online so far. Some very interesting and salient points. There is a fuller list of responses on the Heritage Alliance page listed below. Please add to this list if you know of any other responses no...

Re: Calendar
It's already there - look on the top menu navbar. It's also in the list of pages on the lefthand menu.
Just checked the stats, not too many hits on the page yet, we'll have to 'push' it a bit more.

Calendar
Just wanted to say, I'm loving the Events Calendar page. If I see an event on the web, a couple of minutes later we can have a calendar entry for it! No more preparation a month in advance, and plenty of scope for last minute entries! If you have anything you want added, just let either me or Sue Br...

Stonehenge struggling to cope with numbers
Didn't we predict this a while ago? Furious visitors to the new £27 million Stonehenge visitor centre have criticised English Heritage for ‘chaotic scenes’ as the venue struggles to cope with the number of people attending. Staff and volunteers at the new centre, which opened just three weeks ago, h...

Re: Suggestions for Possible Articles
At least one senior MP is now speaking out against the NPPF, and the damaging legacy it could leave. Nadhim Zahawi, the MP for Stratford on Avon and member of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit, has today expressed concern that the Government’s planning reforms are causing ‘physical harm’ to our count...

Oh I don't know. I pay £300 for a rose tree for £10 years on my parents' plot. If it ever gets built, I suspect it'll last a lot longer than 30 years...

Re: Suggestions for Possible Articles
Ah, it's the guy that runs http://www.sarsen.org/ - he's also got a Facebook Group for this project at https://www.facebook.com/groups/461357813920636/ and seems to have been done to death on TMA. Seems I'm late to the party (again!) on this one.
