Re: Extracting the Past

It was great to meet Alan and many thanks for the congratulations to you and Nigel. Think I am going to be busier than ever not sure how I am going to fit it all in.
When and where is the MegaMeet this year? I promised last year that I would try and make it but may need to re-arrange things.

Re: Mynydd Y Betws feedback

I must set up a Facebook Account sometime, but to be honest I am already struggling to keep up with everything. Might be fun to do something about it as there are whole load of other people who have expressed surprise at my absence from FB.

Yes that's fine. I have plenty more scheduling articles in the pipeline, although there maybe the occasional hiatus as other things (such as work) get in the way.

Re: A nice walk

This used to be one of stamping grounds. A truly amazing multi-period archaeological landscape. Bodmin Moor is often overlooked and I really do not know why!

Re: Protect our place

The Civic Trust folded a few years back and this is I believe the replacement. They used to be mainly interested in buildings from the heritage angle and this may still be the case. Every bodies back yards are so much bigger these days thanks to the internet and of course the threats are so much lar...

Re: Scheduled and saved!

This has been my point for years. I kept saying that it is the SoS who possesses the discretion and not EH. The answer then was that the SoS had been informed that scheduling was suspended (except for real emergencies) and that the SoS was content with this. Yes indeed the decision to schedule natio...
